not to mention this wrangler also had been a smoker once in its life i was clearly able to smell the smoke
I wouldn`t accept a car when I smell smoke. Suggest to return immediatelly to the counter in such a case and ask for an alternative car.

Exactly most of the other cars that were on the lot needed either a check engine light to be addressed or needed oil and other fluid changes

I don`t understand Avis???

Either they should change the cars more frequently or spend some money for the maintenance. To show customers a lot of cars which are not ready for operation doesn`t make any sense. :x

It is ridiculous if those cars are not ready for operation then ehy leave them on the lot I don’t think I should have been able to get any car especially that wrangler and not to mention the avis location i rented at say they get their cars from the airport I think I should have gone to the airport there was an oil change place near that avis that was doing a $79.99 oil change for full synthetic but I decided to let the rental company deal with maintenance

I think you did right. It`s not your job to pay $79.99 for an oil change on top of the rental rate. I simply would avoid this location in future. Or even better I`d avoid Avis if possible. There are sufficient competitors available doing better maintenance. ;)
