What do you think guys, is there a chance to get Class H i.e. a . Lincoln MKZ when I book the Budget Mystery Car? ;)

Presently due to Covid the parking lots are full. Car rental companies are happy for each car which can be rented. I think it`s a good time to ask the RSA for a specific model when you have a Mystery Car booking. The RSA should be flexible. So I think there is a good chance to get the Lincoln MKZ. The worst case might be that the RSA asks for a small upsell price.

My experience is that the staff of car rental companies is not more flexible than before Covid. Either you meet flexible staff then you will profit or you will not then you get what you have paid for.

At the moment I would recommend to book a Budget Compact class instead of the Mystery Car. Due to the fact that parking lots are full I`m pretty sure that on request a FOC upgrade is possible. Basic price is actually below $10 per day. An other option is to ask for an upsell which will be even cheaper than booking a Mystery Car.

But you know that based on a Mystery Car booking you always have the chance to get a higher class car? Especially now as the parking lots at the Budget locations are full. I still wpould prefer a Mystery Car booking when I want to get a higher class car for a very low rental rate. ;)

I can`t imagine that Budget provides you with high-class cars as a gift only due to the fact that business has dropped down. ;)

Just wanted to book at Budget. They have currently a system problem and online booking is not possible. :cry:

Just checked it out. It is now working again. But actually it doesn`t offer a Mystery Car at Salt Lake City Intl. Airport. :(
