Honestly I am not aware about car sharing. I only know this concept from Europe.

For sure car sharing is existing in US. However Drivenow (cooperation between Daimler and BMW) will terminate its activities in US.

Such a concept like car sharing will never really work in US. This is totally against american mentality.

I`m personally not interested in car sharing. I prefer an own car plus a car rental from time to time for business and also for fun when I want to drive an exceptional car. ;)

In the big cities where no parking is available car sharing can make sense. I would use it if available.
