One topic I always wonder when choosing a rental car is the question of whether it is possible to get a rental car without paying a deposit?
Are there any experiences or hints from the professionals?
Thank you in advance for your tips.

I don't think deposits are that problematic @Speedy. They are only blocked by credit cards and normally released immediately after the return of the car. Should be any dammage of course you have to pay the deposit. I don't understand all the excitement of many customers.
Nice cars must be rented, not bought!

A deposit never was any problem for me. As I always take care about the rented cars I got my deposit back without important delay.

why do you need a rental without deposit? just make sure you have a high limit on your creditcard. Your excess will be refunded within 5 -10 days.

Exactly @Highlander. The deposit is not PAYED. it is BLOCKED only. So you will get it back very soon.

This is correct @williamthomas110. The deposit usually is an issue only when you don`t take care about the rental car. As long as you treat it carefully there shouldn`t be any problem to get the deposit quickly back.
