Welcome in the forum @LH4000 :!:
Thx for your first report. Yeah, it`s always interesting to drive from time to time also such a small car like the KIA Picanto.
And.... it make a lot of fun to drive such a car which is very low in fuel consumtion. Any idea what the consumption was?

I was out of for the past 3 days i had from hertz a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L limited with 29,822 miles i put 30,800 miles on it. It was very comfortable very plush seats high quality interior nice leather. Felt very smooth it didn’t feel heavy it didn’t feel like i was driving a bigger vehicle it was maneuverable easy to park and fuel efficient and powerful also, a really responsive driver assist feature especially the lane departure it doesn’t just vibrate when you cross into your but the steering wheel corrects and steers you back in . The negatives horrible visibility especially more so in the second row than the third row with the headrests the brakes made a lot of noise. Sport mode is really ineffecient and makes the engine sound like it’s popping but it also does propel the vehicle forward.

Obviously a great rental from Hertz. The horrible visibilty in the second and also third row is typical for this type of cars i.e. SUV.
The brakes seem to need new discs only. ;)

But let me tell you it beyond a base model it has leather seats alpine sound system navigation panoramic sunroof and was fuel efficient

Sounds good @Lauderdalerick. An interesting SUV. It looks like a lot of space available for the luggage...

Yep very good amount of space. The engine it uses the 2.0t i4 with 375 horsepower is pretty powerful. I’m not used to not hearing an engine it’s just complete silence i only hear the radio.

My last rental from Sixt resulted in a BMW X5 xDrive40i. The xDrive40i model is equipped with a potent engine that delivers strong performance. The BMW X5 is obviously designed with comfort in mind, making it suitable for long-distance driving. Features such as spacious interiors, quality materials, and advanced technology contribute to a comfortable driving experience.
BMW is known for providing a balance between sportiness and comfort in its vehicles. Also this X5, being a luxury SUV, typically has a well-tuned suspension to offer a comfortable ride, especially on long distances.

The fuel consumption of the BMW X5 xDrive40i of course can vary based on driving conditions, maintenance, and the specific behaviour of the driver. My experience was that this luxury SUVs has relatively moderate fuel efficiency.

Overall a great SUV which I will rent a second time at the next opportunity. ;)
