Chevrolet calls this impressive SUV the "The most powerful full-size SUV in the industry". And as usual with Cadillac, the new Escalade is based on a Chevrolet sister model. The sister model of the Escalade is the Chevrolet Suburban, among others, but also the company's full-size trucks such as the Chevrolet Silverado, with which it shares the build platform. Is it normal, a giant pickup and a luxury SUV on the same framework? In the case of the Cadillac Escalade it is quite normal.
The 6.2-liter V8 has little trouble firing the battleship violently when necessary. The car moves forward with a remarkable roar if you wish.
The new Cadillac is available exclusively in the "full cabin" equipment version. This means that the leather front seats are air-conditioned, the rear seats have a heating. On top of that all three rows can be individually adjusted via the three-zone air conditioning system. Of course is the central control screen for vehicle functions and multimedia controlled via gestures like a tablet computer. The instrument unit consists of a color screen that can be individually configured. The color head-up display projects all the important information from the navigation system onto the windshield. The Escalade comes with a complete multimedia system including an entertainment system with Blu-ray player and wireless headphones in the second row.
