Sixt fleet in USA

Post by Checker » Sat Dec 14, 2019 11:07 am

Sixt rent a car is a kind of newcomer in US. They advertise of being a premium car rental company. The website of Sixt show lots of rental cars but I think that the information is not clear enough. I`m interested to learn more about the Sixt fleet here in US. Someone has information about the fleet of Sixt?

Thanks in advance.

The Sixt fleet can be seen on the Sixt website. Bookings can be made on the Sixt deal page. I don`t think that the presentation is not clear enough. I suggest to check it again in more detail.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class can be found in category XCAR and also in category WCAR. These are informations which should be also explained from my point of view.

The Mini Countryman (Mini is part of BMW) is a nice car and can be found in category ICAR :D
I think other car rental companies besides Sixt do not have the MINI available. :(

If you need a lot of space I can suggest to rent something in category GFAR which might result in a Chevrolet Suburban or a GMC Yukon XL. I recently have got the Chevi Suburban. I was impressed.

It is quite interesting that the Sixt fleet in US starts in category MVAR which is includes van models like a Chrysler Pacifica, Dodge Grand Caravan or a Mercedes-Benz Metris. An at the other side in Europe Sixt cheapest category is MCMN which mean the class of a VW Up! or an Opel ADAM which is totally different from the US low budget categors MVAR.

I have already raised this question at sixt directly but did not receive any answer. They seem not to be the best communicators.

Within the Sixt fleet in U.S. there are certainly some guaranteed cars. Any idea which one can be booked as guaranteed cars?

The guaranteed cars you will find when booking one category out of the Sixt Luxury Cars in US.
