Upgrades are presently the only incentives car rental companies are prepared to provide to customers. :x

The convertibles are normally sold out during spring break but the weather where i am is not the best and a lot of spring breakers returned their convertibles early. The enterprise i rented at was getting five mustang convertibles returned and they didn’t know what to do with them. Even with this car shortage the rental companies still do give some upgrades but not as many.

Yeah, convertibles usually are sold out at all rental companies. Early bookings are necessary. But lots of rental companies actually offer free upgrades anyway.
