I think that due to missing chips Mercedes cannot yet deliver the S-Class 2021 to Sixt in US. Hope this will change soon.

I really don`t understand why car manufacturers didn`t buy chips on stock. Usually they are cent items. Stock value wouldn`t has increased tremendeaously. The loss of turnover and profit is much higher now. Stupid from my point of view.

Correct, absolutely same opinion. The manufacturers are totally cost driven. This policy is not always the right one. In the case of chips it was obviously wrong.

Mid of next year the chip issue will be solved. I`m pretty sure guys.

Just a made a 4 days booking for the XDAR category. Hopefully it will result ina BMW 7 Series.

I can now report about my last rental from Sixt. Based on my XDAR booking they asked me If I`d like to drive the BMW Z4 M40i Convertible instead of the BMW 7 series. I agreed upon as the weather was beautiful and a great opportunity for a Convertible. What for an experience, high performance, excellent automatic transmission and an absolutely cool design.

Yeah great choice @Leddy. The 3.0 liter M TwinPowerTurbo 6-cylinder with its 382-hp has an excellent sound. The power is really more than sufficient.

Before I`d buy a 8 series convertible I`d prefer the Z4 M40i convertible. It`s even cheaper and the design is better.

Agree on the price but the design of the 8 series is absolutely great from my point of view.
