Budget is one of the most efficient car rental companies. I`m planning to book a car at SFO. Someone has already experience with renting a car from Budget SFO airport? Thanks.

The Budget station at the SFO airport offers good service. I`ve already booked there several times and was always satisfied. The station can easily reached with the AirTrain. The fleet size is big enough in order to get a car which is requested.

Flying in to SFO where I`ve to go for Budget?

When you come from the baggage claim you simply must follow the signs for the AirTrain. When you take the AirTrain Blue Line it will bring you directly to the rental car center. Then easy to find the Budget counter.

When you plan to renta from Budget at the SFO airport you have to take into account that you must be at least 21 years old. In case you are in an age between 21 and 24 there will be some restrictions on what car classes you can rent. On top of that a daily underage surcharge of $27 applies. When you are at the day of rental 25 and older then you can of course rent any car from Budget at SFO.

No, it is not allowed driving to Mexico with any Budget rental car. Probably you can do it when paying an extra fee. But being honest I don`t think so.

Always when I am at SFO I enjoy the AirTrain. I prefer this AirTrain always instead of any bus shuttle service which is available at most other airports. Also for the rental car return the AirTrain can be easily used as it makes stops at all the terminals. A very customer friendly solution at SFO.

Last rental at Budget was a Ford Mustang Convertible when I was arriving at SFO. Everything went well, service was excellent. Next time at the SFO I`ll come back to Budget.
