Thanks for the impressions @V8Boller . I would never accept such a dirty car. Especially during times of Covid-19 absolutely unacceptable. Did you complain?

In order to show you the difference to a clean car, have a look on what I`ve got recently:
From which car rental company did you get such an un unappetizing car?

I`ve rented tis car from Avis. I`m still totally upset. For me to provide customers with such a dirty car during Covid-19 is a criminal offense. You will easily understand that when looking carefully on the pics which I have posted. My opinion! :(

Sorry , but I would never had accepted such a car. Couldn`t you ask for another one ? For me such a dirty car is a nogo also during normal times and not only currently under Covid-19 circumstances.

Parking lots were empty, I was in a hurry. Didn`t have time for discussion. Therefore I took the car.

If you want to rent a dirty car, with high mileage, poor service, then you have to rent from Budget. My opinion only! :(

The only positive reason to rent there is the low rental rate. But this is really all. :x

But it`s not unimportant. And based on my experience dirty cars and other things depned fully on the individual location and the station manager. If someone gets i.e. a dirty car he simply must complain at the station manager. Normally he will help. And as far as rental rates are concerned I just went to book a car for beginning of July at Sixt. The rate was more than $300 for 4 days. Budget is around 50 % of that.

Also at other car rental companies the interior of cars can be dirty and not only cars from Budget. My last Hertz rental for example resulted in a 2020 Mustang convertible. The car itself was pretty ok with only about 10 k miles on the odometer. In the interior obviously has only the usual rental car clean taken place. I mean a quick vacuum and maybe a wipedown. But the steering wheel and the controls had visible dirt on them. There were also not only one of the drink spots in the cupholders. The "intensive cleaning" was not much applied.

I would have simply refused this car. Why accepting such a car during Covid-19 phase? No reason at all.

Absolutely @UKrenter . I would actually never accept any car which makes the impression of not having been cleaned. The car rental companies are obliged to do that. If they don`t I will not accept such a car.
