My last rental in Germany was an
AVIS Volvo XC 40 D3 at Hamburg Airport. Small but solid car.

Cool, Volvo has the reputation of a very safe and comfortable car. Long time ago that I have driven a Volvo. Should rent a new version in the near future. However which car rental company in US offers Volvos? Anyone an idea?

I don't like the design of Volvo cars. They have never been emotional like i.e. a Mercedes CLS or a VW Arteon or dream cars like a Mustang of course....

Well, somehow the design at Volvo reflects a certain nordic coolness.

My last rental in Germany was a Mystery Car booking from
Sixt at MUC. The Mystery Car class CCCC is called in Germany "Gluecksauto". I`ve got a very nice BMW 116 i with automatic transmission. Great experience driving this very compact BMW which offered sufficient space for my wife and me. Thanks to
Sixt!

I also can report a rental during my holidays in Europe. I`ve rented at FRA Airport from Europcar a small SUV which was a Skoda Scala. The Skoda Scala is part of the Europcar Compact class. In the first instance it was challenging to drive with a manual transmission. Was driving through Switzerland and Austria and then back to FRA. Beautiful car! great holidays. Thanks to Europcar.
