Enterprise think that it’s a tradition that started with their founder, Jack Taylor, a WWII veteran. He has chosen the name Enterprise as a salute to the aircraft carrier he served on at that time.

I think that discounted rates for military and government personnel and veterans is a permanent Enterprise Special. Isn`t it? The discount is something like 5 % or so.
