I have tried once the Sixt Mystery Car but was not happy with it. Complicated pick up procedure at Sixt, car was new but dirty. Next time I will go to another car rental company. My experience with Sixt.
This can happen @YesCar . I think that the service performance fully depends on the location and station. I don`t think that the Sixt staff makes everywhere things so complicated and unsatisfactory.

Up to now I had never any reason to complain about the Sixt staff. They were always professional and friendly.

During my recent trip through Germany I have booked the mystery car from Sixt category CCCC. The result was surprising as I`ve got a BMW 330 i M version. Fully equipped with the latest driving assistants it was a new experience. The BMW was 1 month old only. Thanks to Sixt for such a beautiful car for the rate of a mystery car.

Design and colour of this BMW 3 series is absolutely cool. Didn`t know that such a car can be rented in the Mystery Car category. Thanks for the information.

Based on a Mystery Car booking I have received a Lincoln MKZ out of the category PCAR. For me a very acceptable result for the Mystery Car rental rate. ;)

Sixt offered me to select between Mercedes GLA or a BMW X2. I took the GLA 250 and was not too pleased wth this model. This luxury subcompact SUV offeres less space than expected. Positively should be mentioned the very user-friendly infotainment system. The effecivity of the dual-zone automatic climate control still has room for improvement. The 180-degree rearview camera is ok but today already standard.
The 208 horsepower turbocharged four cylinder engine perfoms quite well but the transmission can struggle to find the right gear. Additional experience with the GLA is a very sporty handling and easy to maneuver. I think that the GLA doesn`t do the greatest job smoothing out bumps in the road.

Overall for me this car doesn`t provide the usual Mercedes standard.

Thanks a lot @Carchecker11 for this interesting report. A big adavantage of any rental car is to make experience of a number of individual car models. ;)

The last booked Sixt Mystery Car at MIA resulted in a nice BMW 330 i. Excellent result for an acceptable rental rate. I´ve enjoyed this car for three days. Will book it again. :D
Btw the car has an excellent 8-speed automatic transmission. ;)
