Thx for the photo of the BMW 5 series.
Bth I´d like to add some details for
Sixt Mystery Car which are already included in the rental price:
- Unlimited Miles
- Loss Damage Waiver (including theft protection) with minimum deductible
- Supplemental Liability Insurance

I have the impression that actually the number of
Sixt mystery Cars at
Sixt USA has increased compared to week before.

I agree. However the
Sixt Mystery Car is more for private rentals than for business ones.

The principle of the
Sixt Mystery Car I know quite well from friends in Germany who use this
Sixt offer very freuquently. They report to get veryy attractive expensive premium cars for a very low rental rate. For sure this experience is valid for the
Sixt Mystery Car in US as well.

A disadvantage in US is that
Sixt offers two versions of the
Sixt Mystery Car, the Mystery Car and the more expensive Premium Mystery Car. As a result the potential to get expensive rental cars is somehow limited when booking the "normal" and much cheaper
Sixt Mystery Car.

I don`t see it as you have described it
@Fancurve . The cars you get depends always of what is available. If you have the Mystery Car booked it might of course happen that you get a car out of the range of the Premium Mystery Cars despite the fact that you have paid less.

This is the principle. If the station has only large seized cars available you can easily get such a large car for a booked Mystery Car despite. Based on the availability more or less the complete range is possible for any customer of the
Sixt Mystery Car. I have heard about customers who have left the station with a Mercedes E-Class on a Mystery Car booking.

Is there a possibilty to check in advance what I probably will get at a specific location when booking the
Sixt mystery car category?

There are three possibilties:
1. During the online booking process you use the comment field to ask for a specific model and availability
2. You give the station a short call and ask them which model you can expect and which one you would wish
3. You can pass by the station and have a quick look on the parking lot. Then you see which models are available
Good luck!
