I read somewhere that you can get up to a 20% discount with Sixt One. Does anyone know exactly how that works?

Some detailed information about Sixt One which is a free loyalty program. You can simply join in on the website or in the Sixt app and earn points on every qualifying rental. As you advance through each tier (Silver , Gold , Platinum , Diamond), your benefits will grow. These are mainly discounts, bonus points, upgrades, and also exclusive service.

The benefits are:

- Status and rental points on every qualifying rental, redeemable for discounts and free rentals

- Member discounts for Gold, Platinum, and Diamond members when logging in on the website or in the Sixt app

-Bonus on rental points: +10% (Gold), +20% (Platinum), +30% (Diamond)

-Free upgrade to the next vehicle category starting at Platinum

-Diamond Lounge access at select locations for Diamond members

-Status match from selected loyalty programs of other car rental companies

Tiers and point thresholds:

-Tier status points

-Silver entry level (immediately upon joining)

-Gold from 2,000 status points onwards

-Platinum from 4,000 status points onwards

-Diamond from 6,000 status points onwards
