Hertz Managers Special

Is anyone already aware about the Hertz Managers Special? It can be booked as category EXAR. It is a kind of Mystery Car which keeps the car model and category open. Is there any dealpage for a lower rental rate?

Hello folks,
I`m not yet found any comparable for Hertz like the i.e.
Deal page from Sixt. Obviously it`s like a gamble the Hertz Managers Special

Does the Hertz category Managers Special really makes sense. Any manager will book based on a business rate which usually is much cheaper as any standard rate. I would select a specific category in such a situation. And during business trips I`m never in favour of any experiments

I am also a fan of clear circumstances during business trips. And this includes to know which category is booked at a car rental company. A Manager Special as offered by Hertz is not my favourite promotion.

Does the Managers Special from Hertz still exist? Or is there any negative impact due to Covid-19 and they don`t offer it anymore?

Yeah, the Managers Special is still offered by Hertz. I`ve checked it out at Chicago O`Hare for next week. It`s even the cheapest offer. For this category the actual rental rate is the same as for an economy car but you have the chance to get a much larger car.

I`ve booked the Managers Special several times. Got always minimum Full Size category but most of the times Midsize SUVs. So I can always recommend the Managers Special from Hertz.

These are good results what you`ve got from Hertz. I`m still surprised about the pricing for this category. The rental rate on the level of of an economy car is much better than comparable offers from rental car competitors. I suppose that the Managers Special is booked very frequently from Hertz.
