With the coupon "FREE UPGRADE ONE CAR CLASS" National rent-a-car offers an upgrade of one car class when you book a Compact through Standard-size car class. The reservation must take place until 4/30/2021 the latest. The vehicle must be returned by 4/30/2021.

Just found another special from national rent-a-car. It`s a last minute special. I checked out a rental for tomorrow at SFO. The offer I get shows a discount of more than 40 %. Great deal from my point of view. There is no dedicated coupon necessary. The discount will be deducted during the booking process on the National website.

National grants $20 off the base rate of a weekend rental. You don`t need a specific coupons for this deal.
The following conditions apply:

+ rental of an Economy through Fullsize, Premium and Luxury vehicles, SUVs, and Minivans
+ a minimum of 3-day rental required and a 5-day maximum applies
+ Saturday overnight keep is also required
+ the offer is valid for travel through 4/30/2021
+ the vehicle must be returned by 4/30/2021

I think that national has in the meantime modified the deal from a weekend rental to $20 off for a weekly rental.

Like at other rental car companies you`ll get a free upgrade from National Car Rental when you make a reservation for a Compact through Standard-size car. Then you`ll upgraded to the next car class.

This offer from National is still valid. However such a free upgrade seems to be standard practice at all rental companies.

The offer for a foc upgrade is valid for travel between 3/15/2021 and 7/31/2021. And the vehicle must be returned by 7/31/2021.

National doesn`t offer any special at the moment. The only exception is the well known One-Way Special.
For a rental rate starting at $9.99 base rate per day on one-way travel between the airport and nearby downtown locations is a great deal.

Actually National doesn`t offer much more than a free upgrade for reservations of a Compact through Standard-size car. This is in the meantime more or less standard at all rental companies.

In the past I was a customer who was frequently renting cars from National. Now I`m going more and more to Sixt as they offer the more attractive deals. On top of that the fleet of Sixt includes more beautiful and interesting cars than the one of National.
