Just saved 28 % by using the pay now option at Avis

As already mentioned in this thread for me the most important disadvantage of the pay now option is that I cannot cancel FOC. Even a cancellation more than 24 hours before pickup will cost me $50 cancellation fee. This could be cheaper. But Avis obviously wants to make money out of this pay now option. What are other car rental companies offer in terms of cancellation rules when using an intermediate payment option?

For the time being Avis offers on a weekly car rental savings of 15% off. On top of that there are an additional 30% off possible the Pay Now option is selected. This means in total savings of 45 % on a weekly rental from Avis when using Pay Now. For me this is a really great deal!

In the best case 45 % off is of course a great deal. I think I`ll going to use for christmas holidays.

I think the deal is still 30 % off now when you use the pay now option from Avis. This is valid for all bookings. And for a weekly rental you`ll get another 15 % discount on top.

The savings on weekly rentals are valid on rentals picked up from now on through February 15, 2021 @Fargo.

For rentals from Avis you actually get a free upgrade plus up to 30% off on all pay now rates. A great opportunity to save some money if you need a rental car from Avis during the christmas holiday season.
