Avis US has another ongoing deal which is called Avis A Weekend Away, Plus a Day. The application to get a complimentary day for a weekend car rental is quite easy.
- the car rental reservation must madatorily include a Saturday night
- the rental deal over the weekend begins already on Thursday and the car rental must be dropped off by Monday at 11:59 p.m. the latest
- the booking needs 2 days in the above period only and the 3rd day will be added by Avis

The Avis A Weekend Away deal is valid for the vehicle groups C to E. This means from intermediate through full-size four-door cars. Also interesting for the users is the rental period which is from today through 03/31/20.

A big advantage of this deal is that the weekend rental can be already started at Thursday and terminated at Monday only. So a great opportunity for a long weekend trip.

No, please read my above information @Postman . You need a minimum rental period between Thursday and Monday and a Saturday night must be included. Quite simple.

Then thanks @Cobra11 . It seems to be a favourable offer which Avis actually has available as the weekend finally is defined with a duration of 5 days.

I have looked for an example and find that the Avis a weekend away discount is applied for the categories Intermediate, Standard and Full Size only. The other vehicle categories are not discounted.

Great weekend promo what Avis actually offers.

Very useful is of course that Avis offers a favourable rate for a four day duration of a weekend i.e. Thursday to Sunday. Never found something compareable at other car rental companies.
