Avis offers a Best rate Pledge. The only thing you have to do is to use the pay now option. In case a customer finds a lower qualifing Avis rental rate on another website, Avis offers a form which must be sent to Avis. Avis will then match the booked rate and provide you on top of that with an adittional 10 % discount on the rental.

The Best Price Pledge is valid all over the year. The rental must begin on or before 12/31/2020. In order to take advantage of this offer the AWD B139800 has to be used. Only for the Car group X this offer is not valid.

But honestly speaking would you use the Best Price Pledge after a rental is terminated? For me it would mean too much efforts for a few $ savings.

Of course, yes. I would certainly use this option. If I can save any money, why not? Sending a form back to Avis only is very efficient.

Important to mention is that the Best Rate Pledge offers up to 30 % discount through the Pay Now option.

I wonder why Avis offers something like this. A well performing IT-system can always offer the best rates. Then nobody would really need such a best price pledge. Or do I understand something wrong?

Somehow true. For me this Avis promo seems to be more or less a pure marketing action.

I have alreday used the Avis best price pledge and could save some money. The effort to fill and send the form to Avis is not that big. I think it is a very fair approach what Avis is offering.

But then you must check rental rates after your booking. Who wants to do that? I don`t being honest.

This must not be done immediately after the booking. Why not checking some days later? Rental rates are always dynamic. Therefore a big chance to find a lower rate which can be claimed by this Avis Pledge action.
