Just one question in terms of the requested deposit when I rent a car at Sixt. Which amount of money do I have to authorize on my credit card at the time of pick up of the car?

The requested deposit by Sixt Car Rental depends on the category of the car to be rented. For security purposes normally an authorization of a minimum of $200 plus the amount due for the rental will be taken by Sixt as an authorization on the credit card. When a Debit Cards is used a deposit of $200 plus the cost of the rental will be taken as a deposit fromsuch a card. Of course the deposit for high-value vehicles normally will be higher.

In order to show an example about deposit at Sixt for high-value Vehicles:

Category: XDAR, XDAV, XZAN, XFAN, XJAN, XSAJ, XTAJ, XTAM

Deposit: $ 2500, or Rental amount + $200, whichever is higher

Credit Card mandatory, no debit cards accepted in these categories.
