For me Dollar car rental is one of the cheapest car rental companies in US. What are your experinces in this respect? Thanks a lot for opinions.

For sure Dollar car rental offers rather low rates. Rental rates of $25 during at an airport on a normal week day are usual at Dollar Rent a Car. Unlimited miles are certainly already included in such a rental rate.

At Dollar car rental by the way normal debit cards can be used as well. Good thing from my point of view.

However you must note that a LDW must be booked as an extra. The price for the Loss Damage Waiver is $11.00 per day. I think as a comparison Hertz charges something around $15 per day.
The LDW at Dollar protects the renter about any financial liability either through a damage at the car or a theft.

Dollar offers also some savings for AAA Members. The real percentage I actually don`t know.

There are a lot of possibilities for savings at Dollar rent a car. Another is simply signing up with an email and then there is a 15 % saving for a weekly or a weekend car rental at Dollar.

Other possibility is to use the Dollar City Special. This special means some savings on top of a favourable rate.

The savings when using the Dollar City Special is around 10 % off the normal rental rate.

Dollar has an impressive station network. Usually they also have a good selection of cars available in the parking lots.

Dollar offers presently a 10 % discount on all rentals. As condition the pay later option must be applied.

The discount will redude rental rates for weekly or weekend rentals. Better than nothing.
