Dollar rent a car has increased now the discount as a Labor Day promo up to 30 %. 30% off the base rate are possible when you book by Sept. 8 from Dollar. A great offer I think.

The duration of this deal was a little short.

The actual promo from Dollar offers 10% off the base rate of any weekly rental. Not too much however better than nothing.

Dollar offers an early booking discount. The earlier the booking the more savings. It´s as follows:

-on October rentals 15% off the base rate
-on November rentals 20% off the base rate
-on December rentals 25% off the base rate.

Good information @Airport! Thx! Due to the actual pandemic situation rental companies should launch much more promo actions like this one from Dollar. Would help to keep the business ongoing.

As already mentioned the second promo action still ongoing at Dollar is that you get 10 % off the base rate for each weekly rental. There is no rental coupon necessary. The 10 % discount applies for the pay later option only.

Btw as a Dollar Express Rewards it`s actually possible to book an additional driver for free. This possibility is valid for your spouse or domestic partner.

Actually you`ll get 10 % off from Dollar rent-a-car with the promotional code 101604. The code is valid for a weekend or weekly car rental based on the pay later base rate.

Honestly speaking I`m not in favour of Dollar. My experience is that they offer dirty and rather old cars. I was never positively impressed when I`ve rented from Dollar. Most of the time I rent from Sixt. They perform much better, new cars and always clean. That`s my experience.
