Probably the Mercedes SL Roadster is no more that exclusive car which it was in the past. Mercedes has in general an issue with its image and reputation. Since it has a variation of very high number of individual models (min. 100) from cheap to expensive, the exclusivity is going lost from my point of view. Exclusivity means to have on the market a low number of models available only. My point of view!

I don`t share your opinion. Already the price of a Mercedes SL Roadster safeguards the exclusivity this exciting car. Based on the sales price only a very restricted numbers of cars are sold every year. Also the rental rates ate rather high.

Yes, but Sixt offers the Mercedes SL Roadster as well. Just checcked it out for a one day rental at Fort Lauderdale in March. Rental rate including all taxes and fees is $221 per day :)

And there are even unlimited miles included in the rental rate :!:

At Sixt the Mercedes SL is cheaper than at Exotic Car Rental by Enterprise. If there is the choice out of different engines at Sixt I don`t know. At Enterprise there is a certain selection available.

Usually there are always cars with different engines available at Sixt in the SL-fleet.

I wonder why Sixt never provides any information about the engines of such cars like the Mercedes-Benz SL. This is frequently also a motivation if such a car is rented or not.

Usually the engines are also a factor for the classification in the ACRISS code category.

I`m pretty sure that Budget doesn`t have such a beautiful Mercedes SL Roadster in its fleet for a favourable rental price. Someone knows whether Avis offers the Mercedes-Benz SL class in the rental fleet?

I`ve not yet seen the Mercedes SL Roadster at Avis. Don`t think that Avis offer this beautiful Roadster.
