Thank you infact for the Memphis part of my trip I might fly into Nashville or Atlanta and then rent a car and drive it’s most likely going to be Nashville because i used to go there alot and i took my girlfriend there on her first trip to the usa and I’m bringing my dogs on this trip

I think that worst case is to loose the prepayment. But usually your risk is a certain percentage depending on the company. I try to avoid also prepayment.

You don`t have an own LDW rental car insurance like Insuremyrentalcar, etc. @Lauderdalerick ? It`s much cheaper having such an insurance for one year when you rent frequently. To sell LDW is a business case for car rental companies.

Yes it’s through my insurance company which is the same one thst insures my personal vehicle

An annual LDW insurance is for me a must when I rent more than two time a year. The LDW sold by rental car companies are much too expensive.
