Hertz Full Size Car

Post by Clavier » Thu Apr 02, 2020 4:33 am

What can I expect to get when I book from Hertz the full size class? My experience with Hertz full size is almost zero. Thanks already for any feedback. :D

Fullsize at Hertz means Group F. The appropriate Acriss Code is FCAR. Usually you can get a Chevrolet Malibu. If you mean a Full Size SUV which is Group T and Acriss Code FFAR. Here you can expect a GMC Yukon

There are lots of options for Full Size cars like Ford Fusion Hybrid, Chevrolet Impala LT, Mazda6, Subaru Legacy, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, Nissan Altima etc. Of course not all of these mentioned models can be found in the Hertz fleet. ;)
The list is only in order to provide you with an impression of the car size. ;)

Full Size at Hertz means class F. As far as I know Hertz offer also class F6. What does this F6 mean?

A difference between clas F and F6 is very helpful. Then I know in more detail what I book and what I can expect. Good idea from Hertz1

I would not be prepared to pay a difference for a higher rental rate between group F and F6 in order to get a leather interior. This doen`t provide me with more comfort during driving.

Last rental from Hertz was Full Size. I`ve received the Chevrolet Malibu and was fully satisfied with this car. As I had to drive long distance the unlimited miles in this categrory fitted with my requirements. Comfortable and fuel efficient. I didn`expect more. Rental rate was acceptable.

I was very early this year in JFK with a premium class reservation. The Gold Club lot was almost empty. Finally I drove away with a Toyota Corolla. Actually everyone has to lower expectations for Hertz. Actually overall poor performance at Hertz probabbly due to Corona. i don`t know.
