Enterprise Deposit Waiver
Usually the deposit at any car rental company is rather high. A friend told me about a deposit waiver at Enterprise rent a car. I`m not aware that a deposit waiver in general is possible. The deposit normally ois blocked with a credit card when the rental car is picked up. This procedure is applied at Enterprise as well. This is minimum my personal experience when I`ve rented from Enterprise. Does someone have different information that at Enterprise waive the deposit? perhaps there are payment methods exiting which allows Enterprise to waive the deposit? Thanks in advance.

At Enterprise rent a car there are different deposit amounts possible. They depend on the location. Details can be found when a booking process is started. When a rental location is choosen plus date, time and vehicle class, then the individual and specific terms and conditions can be read.

In case a debit card is used usually the deposit varies from $100 to $300 at Enterprise. On top of this amount the actual rental cost and maximum cost for fuel will be added. The final amount varies by location as mentioned by @Bentley .

This is correct for debit cards @Airbrusher . In case the rental car is paid by credit card the cost of the rental and the security deposit (maximum fuel charge) is authorized on the card at the time of pick up of the rental car. Enterprise usually release immediatelly the authorization when the rented car is returned. Only the full amount of the rental is charged.

I`m not aware of a complete deposit waiver at Enterprise car rental. The rules as mentioned already above apply as per my knowledge.

Guys, there is always also a security deposit besides the cost for the rental. Yes, there is one part for potential fuel replacement, but also for a potential vehicle damage or a late return of the rental car.Dragster88 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 4:54 amThis is correct for debit cards @Airbrusher . Btw if somebody thinks that the refunded deposit was less than expected, it may have been a charge for fuel replacement, vehicle damage or a late return. But all details can be found on the rental receipt.
