Plan to book the Alamodrive happy deal for the first time at Chicago O`Hare. It can`t be worse than Compact Class but I`ll have a good chance to get a higher category.

I`ve booked the category Drive Happy Deal one time from Alamo. I`ve got a Mitsubishi Mirage which was not that I`ve expected. I don`t recommend this category. It`s better to pay a few dollars more and to get a better car.

I also would have expected something better than such a Mitsubishi. You are sure that this is Compact class and not only Economy Class? Because then you wouldn`t have had to accept this car for a Drive Happy Deal booking. Minimum Compact class is guaranteed.

Just checked, you`re right. It`s Economy only. At that time I was in a hurry and they were in a lack of cars at the station. But then the rental rate was too high. Certainly not much too high, but not correct. A good lesson. I don`t have to go to Alamo again. theer are sufficent others in my area available.

I would never had accepted to leave the lot with an Economy when I`ve booked the Drive Happy Deal. They have done a mistake and the guys from Alamao knew that. My opinion!

They are obliged to provide you with Compact class and not Economy only. You also could claim a reimbursement from Alamo @Powerboy .

But to be honest, we all know how the situation in reality is. You are in a hurry, there is a endless line at the counter, you are happy when you get any car and you want nothing but to leave asap. You don`t want to discuss about the car.
