Alamo CO2 Offset

Alamao has introduced an optional environmental service, the CO2 offset. This initiative enables customers at the time of reservation to offset by a fee the greenhouse gases which are emitted by the car rented. The fee is a per-rental charge and should represent a calculated amount of CO2 emissions by terrapass, inc., produced by a average rental transaction. Therefore it is not based on aspecific vehicle or driven miles.

I would prefer that Alamo ofers mor new models instead of such a CO2 Offset. :shock:

A CO2 Offset fee is like an additional hidden tax applied by Alamo ;)
