according to the Oil Change sticker in the windshield it had its last oil change on October 23 2020 and says it’s due at 14,940 miles it’s currently got 47k on the odometer. It’s also got a slipping transmission it makes a weird noise when i shift into gear it’s an automatic and it grinds and makes a bumpy noise like a clunk.

They kept giving me vehicles that were out of service that had flat tires or no keys.

In such a case I would never rent again from Avis. Not acceptable

I experienced same with a Chrysler 300 at LAX. I complaint at Avis however no success.

Rental cars which are poorly maintained I experienced on european islands only (Madeira, Cyprus).
