Looks great your rental car @Lauderdalerick. For sure it makes lot of fun. Of course the lack of maintenance is not acceptable. But I know you can`t avoid such a car when it`s the only one available.

Exactly plus it was 1 in the morning when i picked it up i was very tired and just wanted to get to my hotel

I will still rent from avis but i will check more carefully and i will mention any maintenance issues to avis when I return it

Stupid that the renter has to do the work of the rental company. But probably it`s better....

I will definitely use avis again but i will rent at an airport location

If possible I always rent at an airport location. Usually there are more cars available, not only from Avis.

Exactly and there are nicer cars at the airport although it is more expensive it’s worth it
