For my actual Premium Mystery Car booking from Sixt I´ve got this white BMW X4 xdrive 30i. Great car which I`ve never driven before.

Someone any idea whether I can get a BMW 3 series for a Mystery Car booking or do I have to book the more expensive Premium Mystery Car?

The 3 series is part of the FDAR category. I would suggest to book the Premium Mystery Car in order to be on the safe side. On top of that you should call the station shortly before the pick up. Then you can talk with the staff about your specific wish. ;)

Correct @Rocky20, but I know about people who have got the 3 series for a normal Mystery Car booking from Sixt. I don`t know whether the reason was a lack of smaller cars?

My last Mystery Car booking from Sixt resulted in a BMW X1 xDrive28i. I found the consumption of around 25 mpg reasonable. Especially when I take into account the surprising performance of the 228 hp. The combination of the 2.= 4 cylinder turbo engine with the 8-speed automatic transmission made an ideal impression.
I really like this small SUV.

Personally I would prefer the X3 as it offers a little more space @Oklahoma. Consumption is more or less identical.

Rental rate is a little higher @Hummer. ;)
