I have booked CCAR at Sixt
. Probably I will upgrade at the counter to ICAR. What do I have to expect in terms of pricing for such an upgrade?
I would say that this depends on the location and in advance period of booking. Just having checked as an example a CCAR price per day at Fort Lauderdale Downtown station. For CCAR Sixt
claims at a specific day $49.32 | day and for ICAR $49.67 | day. So price is more or less identical for both categories. In such a case it should not be any problem for a FOC upgrade from Sixt
CCAR to ICAR.
For sure at another Sixt
location and a different day Sixt
will claim a little bit more for an upsell.

Any uprgrade from CCAR depends on availability of CCAR category vehicles at a specific location. If there is no CCAR available it is clear to get a FOC upgrade to the next available category.

offers under CCAR sedans only which is not bad for the price requested. Sixt
offers always the latest models and brand new cars. A big difference to other car rental companies.
