The only technology of Tesla which is leading on the market is the accumulator technology. All other technologies at Tesla are second class ones.

Thanks @V8Boller . Good idea of Silvercar to get new customers. They seem to be a little more flexible than other car rental companies. ;)

I would not say this. The other car rental companies have interesting offers as well. Just got here in the forum some more informations about the Sixt Top Offers which seem to be also attractive.

Recently I have rented at Silvercar in Fort lauderdale. There I had a Audi A4 reservation for 5 days. The rental rate was $235 including service fee and taxes. The parking could be easily reached after a short walk. There I was picked up for a drive to the off site rental location (ordered with the app).
The rental location is right next to US 1 in the north of the airport.
The A 4 they provide me was not brand new with a little more than 10,000 miles. Overall it was however ok so I could really enjoy the 5 days driving the Audi.
At the end the drop off was efficient and took a few minutes only.

During the trip I had to go on a number of toll roads in Florida. This resulted in an additional charge of $9 which I have been incoiced some time later. As I was already upfront informed about that I was not surprised. Overall renting at Silvercar was a great experience.

:D

Thanks a lot for the short report about your last rental at Silvercar @Polly72 . Was the Audi A 4 with a diesel engine?

No, it was a normal gas engine. ;)
