Sixt SCAR category – which cars are actually included?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to figure out what vehicles Sixt actually assigns to their SCAR category.

I know SCAR is just a category code and not a guaranteed model, but I’m curious what people usually get in real life. Is it mostly standard sedans, something a bit sportier, or does it vary a lot by location?

I booked through one of Sixt’s promo pages and it was a bit cheaper than the standard rate. Might be useful for anyone looking to save a few bucks.

From my experience, VW Jetta and Toyota Corolla are both included in Sixt’s SCAR category. I’ve personally received a Jetta, and I’ve seen multiple reports of Corollas being handed out as well.

Obviously it can vary by location and availability, but those two models seem to be pretty common for SCAR.

Yeah, that matches what I’ve seen as well. I’ve gotten both a VW Jetta and a Toyota Corolla from SCAR before. Curious if anyone has seen other models in this category, or if it’s mostly just those two depending on location and fleet mix.

There honestly aren’t that many different cars that could fit into SCAR anyway
A lot of it also depends on what you’re actually hoping to drive. SCAR definitely isn’t a luxury category at Sixt, so expectations should be pretty reasonable.
