Hertz Car Rental Experience

Hello all,

i would like to start a thread about your experience with Hertz Car Rental.
They are the second larges US company in the car rental business.
I myself have rented a car from Hertz several times.
what's your experience with Hertz?

i booked a car with Hertz and it was a very fair price. i picked up the car at SFO airport and i have never been there before.
It was very easy to find the rental car station and the staff was extremely nice. Hertz has a very good fleet and almost only brand new cars. i told the employee we were going to a wedding. He offered me a free upgrade. of course I took advantage of that :)

if i could have given 10 stars...you know :) i can just give a very big compliment to john's team.
it is very difficult to express how satisfied I was with the service. first thing I was asked was if I want a drink.
since I was in a hurry, I had to decline with thanks
the car i rented previously at miami airport was excellent.
i will never forget this team at the airport :)

Many thanks for sharing your experience wie Hertz :) I just made a Standard Convertible booking with Hertz.I'm excited to see which car there is

The experience with Hertz staff depend of the station. I`ve already suffered of unfriendly and unprofessional staff especially in Michigan. Totally different experience I`ve already made at some locations in California. There Hertz staff was absolutely the opposite, firendly and professional. I suggest to complain at the RSA directly if something doesn`t work as it should. :D

Usually my experience to book cars online is not the best one. But recently I experienced an exception from the rule. It was an urgent situation for me and I`ve tried it again with Hertz out of the office hours.
All went well, clear and self explaining website, exciting service and reasonable rental rate. In future Hertz will be the first choice, even online. ;)

An advantage booking from Hertz is that cars are usually very new. Till now I haven`t experienced a rental car which has driven lots of miles. This is a fact which I enjoy. :D

Hi guys, I frequently rent for business purposes at DFW from Hertz. I`m always very impressed about friendlyness of the staff there. I necver had any reason for any complaint. One time when I told the RSA to need a nice car for a birthday tour he gave me FOC an upgrade without hesitating one second. Great! :D
