Avis Preferred
There is a lot written on the website of Avis about the Avis Preferred status. As I`m not yet a member of Avis Preferred I would like to know about your experience with this loyality program. What I mostly would enjoy is the expedited service and that I probably can always go straight to the rental car at lots locations. What are your preferences? What are for you pros and cons ?

I don`t think that there are any cons existing. But first of all I think everyone must know that there are two levels at Avis: Avis Preferred and Avis Preferred Plus. When you have registered for Avis Preferred then you get some benefits. These are the following:
- At most locations you are provided with an expedite service and can go straight to the rented car.
- You earn the Avis Preferred points much faster.
- For each dollar you spend you can earn points. These points can be redeemed for upgrades, accessories and also for free rentals.
- Your preferences can be saved and reservation goes faster.
- Your activities and rewards can be tracked easily by yourselves.
- You get offers by email on a monthly basis.
- You become automatically member of Avis Preferred Plus when you rent frequently.
Then there are additional benefits when you have reached the Avis Preferred Plus status. This status can be reached after you have had 12 rentals or you have spent $5,000 during a calendar year. Then you get the following benefits:
- You can skip the counter and get of course all the benefits of Avis Preferred.
- Whenever available you get additional upgrades.
- Your rewards are accelerated. This is done by opting into Avis Preferred Points. You get 25-50% more points for each dollar which you spend.
- On a monthly basis you get by email very exclusive offers.

It becomes interesting after 12 and finally 25 rentals

As far as I know there are severeal levels which can be achieved within Avis Preferred. It`s besides the first level the higher Avis Prefeerd Plus and then the Avis President`s Club. When can I become the level of a Avis Preferred Plus member? Thanks
