Alamo Mazda Miata

Post by carfinder » Fri Jun 19, 2020 3:01 am

Just found the Mazda Miata RF from Alamo. This model is obviously part of the Alamo fleet in category Compact Convertible. As I think about to buy such a car I would be keen to learn more about your experience. Someone has already driven this car. Thanks for any feedback! ;)

I`ve already driven the Mazda MX-5 Miata. It was not a rental car from Alamo but it was from a firend. He gave me the opportunity of a short testdrive which I`ve enjoyed pretty much. It`s a small but attractive car out of the sports car class. It offers a poissed handling. Also a more than sufficient engine performance is available. However I felt limited practicability due to a cramped and tiny trunk cabin. ;)

The MX-5 Miata from Mazda is a funny small sports car. It`s still of my list of cars to be rented.

You can also rent this model on Turo. But I would prefer a rental directly from Alamao. My opinion.

Honestly speaking I would never rent from Turo. I've too much doubts about maintenance of the cars.

Same opinion @Champion . I've rented one time from Turo and was disappointed. The car was dirty and had already lots of miles on the odometer.
Never again!

I prefer to rent from professional rental companies instead of using privately owned car. Of course this is a business concept but not mine.

I've driven the Miata one time. It's not comfortable, no power and no space.

I don`t understand what might be attractive at such an Mazda Miata. For me it`s not a real car but a vehicle with 4 wheels only.
