Enterprise Advance Check-In
At 500+ participating locations in the US Enterprise rent-a-car offers now an advance check-in. This possibility allows a very streamlined and low contact process. The advance check-in starts 48 hours before the pick up of the rental car.
I think this is a step in the right direction and I´m confident that other rental companies will follow soon.

Yeah, absolutly. I`m also quite sure that such a measurment will be applied by the other rental companies as well. It`s a good idea to have now such a possibility.

I`ve tried to collect some additional information about the Advance Check-In porcess. It works as follows:
As a first step the renter will get a notfication by SMS or email. Herewith the renter is informed that it's time to check in about 48 hours before the rental. The second step is that the customer provides some basic information like driver's license information, address and confirmation of the rental details. The third step is to choose from the Enterprise optional protection products and extras. Then the renter can add the payment method. Of course the renter will not be charged until the rental really begins.
The last and final step is to receive the Rental Pass. Overall this enables ther renter for a low-contact rental.

I like advance check-in. It always much more convenient than anything else. I use the advance check-in always with pleasure also for my flights.

Honestly speaking I`m not aware whether other rental companies offer the same procedure in terms of advance check-in.

The advance check-in is also very welcome when there is no Covid 19-phase.

Last week I`ve used the Advanced Check In service from Enterprise. It has worked greatly. Thx Enterprise!
