Alamo Letter from Damage Control Dept

Post by Charley » Sat Jan 04, 2020 2:59 am

Hi all,

I had a car from Alamo recently and just picked up a letter from the Alamo Vehicle Damage Control Dept. For sure I have returned the car without a scratch and I am more than confident that I haven't damaged it.

In this letter there are basically no details included except various vehicle ID numbers. Alamo requests to complete a form about the damages.

Being honest I have no intention of responding. However do I risk to being billed or pursued?
Anyone has any experience for such an issue? Can Alamo shed some light on this for me?

Thank in advance.

I suggest not to wait. Send Alamo a short note that the car was not damaged at time of return. As proof add the protocol which you have received at car rental return @Charley . :D

I support the opinion of @Bentey. Waiting only is never an option. Alamo will for sure open a case if there is no reaction.
